Deacon converted a former five-story La Quinta Inn, 60,440 sf across four stories plus a basement, into Sheila Stanton Place, 103 units of Permanent Supportive Housing for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. The facility is now operated by Plymouth Housing, providing 24/7 on-site support and wraparound services to residents who need it most. The transformation went well beyond cosmetic work. Former hotel sleeping units were converted into proper dwelling units with kitchenettes, and new accessible units were added to meet ADA standards. Support and laundry areas were reconfigured throughout, and an exterior shelter was added. Systems work included full window and roof replacement, fire protection revisions, HVAC upgrades, and comprehensive plumbing, electrical, lighting improvements, and fresh paint throughout.
